In the Mundane

Worshiping God in the mundane might be one of the hardest, yet beneficial times in our Christian walk. Its easy to praise when life is going better than normal, and during the times where we hit the valley’s where we are at our end and realize only God is able to pick us up, and in our weakness His strength shines through.
But what about times where life is normal. Things are going ok, no real issues, no real excitement, just mundane. These are the times when God likely gets the least attention from His followers. We aren’t clinging to Him in our desperate situation nor are we singing His praise for the wonderful situation.
We often will just neglect to remember how God is at work in the average day, that He sustains our very heart beat, that He is still our strength, that Christ is still sitting and interceeding on our behalf, that the Living God chose our body as His temple His dwelling place, God is still very active even when we are “just doing life”
If we are able to lift up hands of praise during the everyday, average, “boring” life, how much more will we sing of His wonders in times of triumph and cling to Him in times of need.

“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble hear and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together! ”
Psalm 34:1-3
